One of many Oscar Bach designs inspired by the Zodiac, the openwork bronze case depicts twelve signs of the Zodiac and is complemented by a contrasting red-painted background. The box opens to reveal a removable cedar lining. It is described in Price's 1938 book as "a utility box in the heraldic manner with the twelve signs of the zodiac."
