Oscar Bach’s success as a custom metal craftsman was not limited to the island of Manhattan. As early as 1915 he was designing exterior features for mansions in New Jersey. By the 1920s his reputation was growing in architectural circles and he obtained prestigious commissions by establishing good relationships with interior design firms, retailers and architects such as Herman Brookman, Harrie T. Lindeberg, and Charles B. Delk thus extending his presence well beyond NYC into the Midwest and Pacific coast.
